When I first got llullu,I started giving her the moistened kibble. Then, after a few days I put dry food in another container to introduced her the dry diet. She's 11 weeks old, and now she is eating only the dry food. She doesn't eat the moistened kibble anymore. Is this ok?
I'm giving her TF and Marshall and today I bought the 4 lbs TF so it is going to be more TF than marshalls.
I'm still debating if I cut off the marshall food completely or if I should keep doing the mix.
What do you guys think?
I would keep an eye on her little pooper just to make sure it doesn't get sore due to the dry kibble diet, but since she is choosing to eat the dry it's probably okay at this point.
I've always heard it's better to feed a mix, that way if one brand is no longer available or the formula gets altered a little and it's no longer palatable to your fuzzy you still have at least one food they will eat. Lil buggers can be quite finicky at times. I mix 3 brands together, but not always the same. I have zupreem & the ferret store brand consistently the 3 is sometimes mazzuri, TF, or that Evo stuff that I can never spell right.

Ok, her:poop: was different today, like not a brown color and very soft like without a form. Can this be a problem?
Should i put the moistened kibble back and take out the dry kibble or is this normal because of the change of diet?
I wouldn't worry about one or two poo's as long as there is still some consistency to them. (not all liquid) Lots of things can cause the occasional loose stool. Just keep an eye on that, if it doesn't clear up soon talk to your vet. I think you mentioned elsewhere that Llullu has a vet appointment soon.

Ok then, I'll keep an eye on her. The first :poop: was quite liquid, but then the other times was more normal.. btw I just looked at her litter box now and found normal :poop: so maybe it is nothing... thanks Sasy!
she's a baby and I'm worrying to much:)
Yes, she has an appointment on Monday. Can't wait!
I know how it is....I can't believe how much we obsess over what :shit: looks like. When I got my first two ferrets, I worried about everything. If it was a slightly different shade of brown, or even when I heard one of them cough I would stress about it.
It's good to know that we pay that close of attention to our babies to notice these things.

If she is eating the dry kibble on her own, let her... she should be just fine. As I have told Phil before... don't second guess yourself... when you start doing that, you end up making mistakes. Fintia, your kids are in wonderful hands, I'm sure of it!
