last night bandit discovererd yet another spot to dig...this time right down by the stream bank! i'd love to get a disposable camera and shoot some good ones...he must have been excavating that one for 45 minutes at least! i could barely get him away from it, and when i tried moving him to another spot, he dragged me right back to the new hole and dug away!

the little fella is soooo smart! he has such a good memory for outdoor places...just like a dog. there must be something about that new spot he likes, but why i don't know. sometimes an area outside will just intrigue him no end, and then the next day he'll ignore it!

there seem to be alot of areas along that stream bank that either have been dug out, or worn away when the rains increase the water level. no one has seen the muskrat here for months, so if bandit's new hole was originally a muskrat hole, the former tenant must have moved on.

good thing bandit is good at leash walking! he'd probably dig to china if i couldn't keep tabs on him that way! :)

here he is at work on his original hole. this isn't the one he started on last night however.

not only did he widen it, but it appears to me he also dug several new chambers in that hole that weren't there when he first discovered it several months ago.

Aahh...I may have to open a branch of Dyess Excavating in Virginia and hire Bandit. Ferrets sure do love to dig.

wow bear and stinker havent figured out they can digg yet lol...Bandits got a cute little bootie lol...how funny is that tho..

he does, doesn't he. i love it especially when he folds up in a little ball in my hands when he's asleep and i hold his soft little paws in my hand. :)

lol! i don't doubt it! like Alice in wonderland, except instead of a rabbit hole, it's a ferret hole! ;)

What a cute pic of Bandit in his hole! Mine dig in the dirt but make more like trenches than tunnels, Bandit has the right idea! What a little mastermind you have there!
