I came to live at an exotic petting zoo with some family friends almost two years ago. Upon some lucky mishap I was given a ferret to care for. See my caretakers daughter bought one without realizing how much work it required to take care of a ferret. With her being in University and all she told her mother she couldn't take care of him and to make him part of the petting zoo. I at the time had no prior knowledge to ferrets and was given the responsibility to make sure he was taken care of. After reading online the extensive needs of a ferret I decided I would give it a shot. Despite my struggles with being a new ferret foster mom I grew to love the bundle of joy! Rome I named him, he reminded me of a warrior dooking about. After some time my caretakers daughter wanted him back... man was it a hard time for me. So I set out to find a ferret of my own after dealing with giving Rome back. I even was making arrangements to adopt across the country. But I ran into some problems with what may have been fraud who knows. So I wasted money trying to bring home a few fuzzy ones and a cage with bedding. Anyways back to the story. Well about a year after I left I return to this exotic petting zoo with intention of moving in... and guess what... yep hes all mine now. I finally have my Rome back after a year of suffering and wishing I had him back. So this is where the next chapter in our lives start. For those of you who are experienced fert owners and are willing to lend a hand please add me to your msn or aim, I would appreciate it. And I look forward to seeing you all around.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have lots to share, I even became a victim in this terrible disease you all might know as FERRET MATH!!!! I'll tell you all about it in a new thread. :) I am from Northern Ontario (Sudbury ish area) to be more specific. Nice to see you Dom and SAsy.
