A few weeks ago, a person named Rebecca McFarlane passed away suddenly in her sleep. She was known to adopt any ferret she came across who was too old, ill or unwanted by anyone else. She has done this for years, and one night - she passed away in her sleep after losing yet another one of her rescued babies. She left behind a husband, and a whole lot of people who miss her. Sadly, she also left behind a vet bill and a whole lot of furkids that relied on her love and care. Kat, who runs Save Our Shelters has had a raffle going on for Rebecca's kids for some time now and I have forgotten to make this post (I feel like a moron).
Unfortunately, the raffle ends tonight at midnight. There are some great prizes in the raffle. If you are able - please give what you can to help continue to care for Rebecca's kids. Below you will find a link to the raffle page, with further information about Rebecca.
Thank you for your consideration.
-KD

Truth be known, we're regular supporters now of SOS (Save Our Shelters). Kat who runs the SOS Raffles is a wonderful lady who also donates so much to ferrets and shelters, its unbelievable. We have already made a donation to care for Rebecca's kids, and asked that the prize - if won, be given to her kids as well. (Since the prize requested is a year's supply of TF).
Is anyone able to help out with this as well? The thought of furbabies without a mama to keep them safe just kills me. It just makes me want to cry...
Edit:
Thinking more about this... If I could wish to let anyone know anything when its time for me to go - I'd only wish that I could show my wonderful wife a rainbow once in awhile - so she'd know that's where I'd be waiting for her.
