What can I do??

I posted a few days ago how Stinky was being possessive, I don't know if any of you happened to see it. But it's gotta worse! Just now, she had something that if ingested, really could've hurt her. After about 5 minutes worth of chasing her, I finally thought I got it from her. So I wrapped the sleeve of my sweatshirt over my hand, and when I went to pick her up, she bit me so hard THROUGH the sweatshirt that she drew blood...and she didn't just bite, she bit and held on.When I went to pick her up a few minutes later, she hissed at me more and wiggled to be put down...what can I do, if anything?

Assert yourself, be the parent and be attentive to what she's doing always. You will have to keep a close eye on her, or at least do a better job of ferret-proofing. This is about the only way to ensure her safety. You can do it, and with enough positive reinforcement, you can break her of her pissy behaviour.. lol

I know it is hard to train them not to do something. I'm still working with my Llullu with the time outs, and she is a little bit better but still giving us hard times sometimes.

Again patience IS the key here. Always correct her. Just like human kids you will have to repeat yourself many times to get your point across. She will mellow when she gets to know you better and her environment.:taz:

our jill squick was a bad biter when we got her, the only 1 that could touch her was my bf, but with time and patience for them to trust you and all will come right :) our little girl will let u cuddle her and even gives us morning kisses :) although daddy is still the fav human :)
