Isn't Labor Day coming up? (I'd say the 4th of July, but that's our "human" daughters birthday.) I'm down for a road trip. We can just go "look" at the kids. (ya'll remember our story when Kokodaddy and I went last time don't you? LOL - We came home with 3 more!!)

I'm still game for this? FerretMommy and JuniorsMommy, how about you two? We can do a weekend run (no boys allowed? - I love you honey). If anything it will give a chance to get away from our crazy, hectic schedules!

I won't be here for Labor Day weekend.. I'll be in NJ and SC...returning on Tuesday after Labor Day.. That's my annual trip to see my father (he's in SC).

I'm game for any other weekend (pending other travel arrangements)..

Oh I'd love to go! I have been wanting another fuzzy to keep Jax company. How are the Vegas though? Jax is a marshall ferret, but some friends of mine bought 7 ferrets from Vegas and all of them died. The vet said it was because they were missing some vital organs. Is that even possible?

2 of my 3 are from vegas and they are doing great!I haven't had any problems like that!I don't know if that would be possible.....Seems to me that if they were "vital organs" they wouldn't have lived long enough to make it to the pet store.just my opinion......

and my 3rd is possibly from vegas.....

All three are from petco!

all of my babies are marshall babies......

VERY doubtful... I think you were lied to about why they passed away to be honest!

We can show you where to go in Vegas to get Marshall babies... or, you can just wait for a rescue to come available... and we can point you in the right direction.

That's what I thought. I don't understand how it would have lived to even be 8 weeks old without organs. Oh well. My mom was in Vegas this last weekend and went to Pet Kingdom, but they were sold out. I had called them on Thursday and they told me that had 30 or so. I'd rather wait for a rescue, but I feel bad for Jax being alone, even though we play with him alot. I think I had better just wait. Thanks!

When we find a date that works for everyone who wants to go, don't worry I know where to go (just to look, Kokodaddy, I promise :winkiss: ).

Hey guys if I lived out there with all of you I would love to come on your outing, but I guess i'll just have to be content to be a "West Virginia Hillbilly" I need an even number also, but I hear that the # 7 is a lucky number!!!! I couldn't go an come back without one!!!

ferretmommy

Fortunate for you, Ladyjane, you probably don't have to go far to get another baby. However, when I was still in Jersey I would always visit the babies in the pet store where Hobbes came from. The shelters with these babies weren't very close..:stuart:

Famous last words, ya' know....?

Boonie is my bestest new buddy... even if he's a bit overwhelmed at the moment with all of his brothers and sisters wanting to get to know him.
