JuniorsMommy - I'll look into this before I provide you with what little information I have. But, just for the saftey of the babies, try to tell this person not to smoke around the kids. I'll follow up later directly with you on this issue.

This is a hard problem, i have read in ferrets mag. that smoking around your ferrets can be harmfull!! I quit years ago but my husband still smokes around me and chewie. the only truley smoke free place i have is my new car(heaven help him if he smokes in there).

everyone who smokes knows it is bad, everyone around them who doesent smoke is still inhaling smoke against their will but just try to get an addicted smoker to quit, its nearly impossible. I purchased a static electric air purifier and that seems to help a little.

I would never smoke so I would never allow any smokers near my girls. If it is as harmful to us, imagine their poor little lungs

Can't you get him to smoke outside, in the garage or on the patio or something? If not for the sake of the air you breathe in your home, then for your health's sake.

I would never allow someone to smoke INSIDE my home!

Smells terrible, its bad for you, and removes others' choice to not inhale!

I don't smoke in the house here, just outside. :punk:I don't think smoking around ferrets can be good at all, since they have such delicate respiratory systems and speedy metabolisms!

Anyway, who wants their ferrets to stink like cigarettes? Yuck!

I smoke too but not where my babies are.so pretty much i don't smoke in my bedrooms. Now i will have to start smoking outside again however as my new little guy is staying in the living room until he is used to us, being here and my vet says he is ok!
