I am so glad I don't live in CA. I've lived in KS my whole life, always thought it might be nice to live somewhere else. I will be sure and mark CA of the list.

Great if you like an astronomical cost of living, filthy air, regulations bordering on communism...and people who hate ferrets! But hey...to each his own :laughing:

i lived in los angeles for about 44 1/2 years, and i was never as happy as i am now living with judy in chilhowie, which is a very small rural town in virginia. plus ferrets are LEGAL here!!! :):):)

The air here is killing me. I have not been able to breath normally sinse I moved her and get sinus headaches from it. Can't see the Seirra Mountains that are only a few miles away. What are stars?? can't see anything in the sky at night. We are on red alert most of the time for air quality, on a good day we go to orange alert. And this county is very hateful of ferrets. Colarado is looking better all the time.

It used to be against my cities by-law to own a ferret (that has since changed, thank god) and we had inferior breeders supplying us with ferrets that had sad stories for pets. (not that they thought so) Now we are able to buy healthy, happy pets. It's a sad story.

My friend, Gaby Lives in L.A. and has never heard of a ferret until she met me, lol. Shes obessed with Charlie and Cassie! I think it was really odd how she went from Not knowing what a ferret was to being obessed with them. I guess its a good thing though.
