Well, early this morning, my parents had to put down one of our horses, Daisy.. She hasn't been eating for the past 4-5 days, just drinking water constantly. She had 'lock jaw' or whatever you want to call it, too. But, early this morning, my dad went out to see how she was (btw, she was a Blonde Belgian), and she was laying on her side struggling to get up. She obviously wasn't getting better, so my parents decided it was time to let her go. She will be missed deeply...

Thank you so much. It's hard, the other horses (now 4 Blonde Belgians and 2 ponies) are trying to find her, keeping walking around and whinny-ing. But atleast we know shes in a better place now and can eat all she wants with no problem.

What a heart-breaking story. The place I ride at has a 54 year old horse, and they keep thinking that he's going to live forever. (((Hugs for your family)))

So sorry to hear about Daisy. I have worked with horses since I was 10 and have a special place in my heart for all of them. The belgians are really gentle giants. My thoughts are with you and your family.:(
