Well, the meeting that was held in Tustin, CA today as the Orange County "Meet Up" went very well. Amongst the items talked about was the idea of starting an Orange County Chapter of Ferrets Anonymous. At this moment, they are working towards setting up a phone number that people can call to place ferrets, adopt ferrets and find out more about legalizing ferrets. Soon, there will be a web page built and linked to the FA site to help raise awareness of the domestic ferret in California both to help people understand them, keep them safe and hopefully end up making them legal.

In all, the meeting was a success with 16 persons in attandance and several new members of the 3,000 Club who signed up. If you don't know what the 3,000 Club is, please see here: http://www.legalizeferrets.org/3000-club.php

Those of you here who wanted to attend but couldn't, were missed - but with this movement towards creating an Orange County chapter of Ferrets Anonymous in action now, there will be more meetings, and more opportunities to get involved.

If you are interested in attending a future meeting of Ferrets Anonymous, Orange County - please email info@ferretsanon.com for now indicating interest in Orange County, FA, and we'll get your email via the San Diego Chapter of FA for the time being. There will be an actual FA email address set up soon to handle Orange County, CA email and needs.

I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting and meeting everyone there, and am very excited to help get the OC Chapter up and running!! As Kokodaddy said, those who couldn't make this meet up were definitely missed, but it'll be great to see you all next time! :)
